Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a 9 by 5 or 8 by 5 baking pan with parchment paper and set it aside.

Melt the butter and oil in a medium saucepan on the stovetop or in the microwave and transfer to a large bowl.

If you melted the butter in a saucepan, transfer it to a big basin. If not, add the granulated sugar and brown sugar and stir until blended.

Blend egg and vanilla. Unstick flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Pour chocolate-chunk brownie batter into pan. Pre-heat the oven and bake the brownie batter loaf pan for 25 minutes.
